🎤 Lip Sync Battle Contest – Event Overview 🎤

Preliminary Rounds:

· Dates: Thursday, May 8th and Thursday, May 15th

· Contestants must be available for one of these two dates.

· A total of 20 contestants will compete – 10 each week.

· From each round, 5 contestants will move forward to the Semi-Finals.

Semi-Finals:

· Date: Thursday, May 22nd

· The Top 10 contestants from the preliminary rounds will compete.

· Top 5 from the Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals.

Finals:

· Date: Thursday, May 29th

· Finalists will perform one song of their choice and one random song chosen from a list of 5 pre-selected numbers.

Performance Details:

· Each contestant will perform one lip sync number of their choice during the Preliminary and Semi-Final rounds.

· Finalists will be randomly assigned one of the 5 listed songs to perform

Scoring & Judging

· Performances are evaluated using a 50/50 system:

o 50% of the score is based on evaluations from a panel of three judges

o 50% is determined by audience ballot entry

🏆 Grand Prize:

· Round-trip flight to Calgary (1 checked suitcase)

· Dates: Depart Friday, July 11th – Return Sunday, July 13th

· 2 nights hotel accommodation

· $400 spending money

· Performance on the Cowboys’ Stage at the Calgary Stampede on Saturday, July 12th!
